Educational Qualification BTC LP UP Recruitment:
For Assistant Teacher (LP):
a) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
And
(b) Passed in Assam BTC TET for LPS, conducted by the Elementary Education Department, Assam.
For Assistant Teacher (UP):
Graduate from UGC recognized University and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B.Ed. or D.Ed. (Special Education) or B.Ed. (Special Education) and passed in Assam / BTC TET for UPS Conducted by Elementary Education Department, Assam.
For Science Teacher (UP):
B.Sc. from the UGC recognized University and 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education or B.Ed. or D.Ed (Special Education) or B.Ed.(Special Education) and passed in Assam / BTC TET for UPS (Science and Mathematics) conducted by Elementary Education Department, Assam.
For Hindi Teacher (UP):
Graduate from UGC recognized University having Provin / Ratna in Hindi with 50% marks with 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B.Ed. or D.Ed. (Special Education) or B.Ed. (Special Education) and passed in Assam BTC TET for UPS Conducted by Elementary Education Department, Assam.
Age Limit:
Interested candidate must not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 40 years for unreserved category, 42 years for Ex-servicemen, 43 years for OBC/MOBC and 45 years for SC/ST(P)/ST(H) and 50 years for Persons with Disability (PwD), on 1st January, 2020.
Other Criteria of BTC LP UP Teacher Recruitment 2021:
1) The Language -I of the Assam Teacher Eligibility Test (ATET) / BTC TET of the candidate shall match the medium of the school, wherein the candidate wishes to apply. As for example, if a candidate wishes to apply in an Assamese Medium School, the candidate must have Assamese as Language-I in the Assam / BTC TET. Likewise, for Bodo as Bodo Language School, the candidate must have Bodo as Language-I in Assam BTC TET conducted by Elementary Education Department, Assam.
2) The Criteria-1 will come in force in case of Assistant Teacher for LP School and Assistant Teacher, Science Teacher of UP School.
3) The Criteria-1 will not come into force in respect of Assamese Language Teacher and Manipur Language Teacher of UP Schools.
4) A candidate can apply one post in one district.
5) The candidate who has completed the 18-month D.El.Ed. course from the NIOS (ODL) will be treated as par and equally with the other candidates who have completed the 2-year course for the purpose of this recruitment process.
6) The candidates having qualified in Assam / BTC TET for LPS and Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) can also apply for the post of regular teacher in LP Schools but the person so appointed as a regular teacher shall mandatorily undergo a six-month bridge course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE within two years of such appointment as regular teacher.
7) Candidate belonging to BTR shall be given 1 preference.
How to Apply for BTC LP UP Recruitment:
Interested candidates have to apply online through the official website of DE, BTC i.e. www.debtc.in from Midnight of 29-07-2021 to Midnight of 12-08-2021.
Candidates who submit online applications will be able to select District, medium of school and category of posts through the official website of Director of Education, BTC, Kokrajhar i.e. www.debte.in using their registration.
Documents to be uploaded in colour:
Passport size colour photograph.
2. HSSLC Mark sheet and admit card (Age proof).
3. Degree Mark-sheet and certificate.
D.El.Ed./ B.Ed Marksheet (1st year & 2nd year) and certificate.
4. Cast certificate (in case of SC/ST(P/ST(H)//OBC/MOBC)
Certificate NCC (only B or C category only), Sports & cultural (if represented state at National Level)
Certificate and Marksheet of Assam TET/BTC TET.
5. BTC Residential Certificate from the concerned authority.
6. Teaching experience certificate along with countersignature of concerned BEEO / D.I.s.
7. Scanned Signature.
